Founded in 1996 in North Royalton, Ohio, Cleats Club Seat Grille started out as Aardvark Sports Bar.  The Aardvark remained until 1993, when unfortunately it burned to the ground.  Only a small community bar, we still had a loyal local patronage and we loved our city. This prompted us to search for and find a new North Royalton location, which is where our flagship location still remains.

Community has been a priority for us since the beginning.  We've sponsored countless sports teams and city events and are very proud to say Cleats is a major sponsor of the new North Royalton stadium foundation.

Over the past 18 years, Cleats has grown and expanded to seven locations throughout Northern Ohio. We continue our tradition of supporting the local communities that got us started. It's our way to continue to share the values set forth back in 1996.

And … there’s always the wings!  Which is what we are known for.  With all of our sauces and dry rubs, personally crafted and manufactured, wings are what we do best.  The result is a flavor profile unique to the world's best wings.  Each of our restaurants annually sells almost 100 tons of wings.  This fact alone makes us one of the highest volume wing chains in the state of Ohio.

Cleats is a full-service sports bar and restaurant featuring a comprehensive menu complete with salads, wraps, burgers, sandwiches, ribs, quesadillas and of course one of our signature wing sauces.  And in the recently trending competitive craft beer market, we are proud to offer a large selection of local and national craft brews for our guests to enjoy.
